Operator Inactivity Timeout
If an operator is in an event (alarm or tour) but does not perform any audit-able action for a configurable number of minutes (i.e. switches camera) a warning will appear on the screen counting down. If they do not hit cancel at the end of the countdown the event will be automatically moved back into the main queue.
This is different to the "Browser Timeout" function (below) as this only occurs if a an operator's browser is online and in an event/site but the operator themselves are not performing any actions (i.e. they have left their desk but forgot to close the event) rather than any technical communication issue.
You can customise the number of minutes before the Site Monitor screen is considered idle as well as the number of seconds to show the inactivity warning before being pushed back into the main queue in the
Default Settings
By default (if the box is blank) the timeouts are:
Number of minutes before an event is automatically parked: 10 minutes
Number of seconds given as a warning before an event is parked due to inactivity: 10 seconds
