Currently locked out. Please contact system administrator
Max Login attempts exceeded, you have been locked out.
This means that the user has gotten their password wrong too many times. Their account will now be locked out for 30 minutes (by default)
If you (or the user) can't wait that long, then your SureView Administrator (who has "system administrator" permissions) will need to login to the SureView Version 1 Interface: (Please note that this must be done on the Sureview Version one user interface and not the Sureview Version 2 interface).
- Login to the V1 interface.
You can do this by navigating to your top-level sureview address. This is just the base URL, without anything after the / (so for example go to https://customername instead of https://customername/sureview) - Go to the Setup Tab
- Go to the Edit Users Link
- Find the user that has been locked out
- Scroll down to the bottom of user details page
- Click "Remove Lockout"
Customisation
Login Security Settings can be configured by the SureView Administrator by logging in to the SureView Version 1 Setup Interface and:
- Go to the System Tab
- Go to System Settings
- Expand the "Security" Section
Password Reset Process via Sureview V2 Interface
After 7 unsuccessful attempts, SureView Ops automatically locks your user account. This is to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Your user login will be automatically unlocked again after 30 minutes. Your account will be locked out immediately for another 30 minutes if you continue to get the password wrong.
If you've forgotten your password please use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen to trigger a password reset email.
