Troubleshooting

Alarms don't show the license plate image

Be default, the plateSmart receiver will only display one of the two attached images of alarms; The full vehicle image. This however is configurable in the SVPlateSmart.config file.
 
Enabling the following (true by default) shows the vehicle image if attached:
blobid0.png
 
Enabling the following (false by default) shows the license plate image if attached:
blobid1.png
 
It is possible to have both, either or neither attached images saved when received.

 

All PlateSmart events are coming into Sureview as alarms

By default all events sent into Sureview are treated as alarms and raise alarms as such, however if the user only wishes to process the PlateSmart Alert messages, it is possible to ignore the PlateSmart Events by updating the SVPlateSmart.config file:
