Encoding The Password
1. On Aimetis Open C:\Program Files\Aimetis\Symphony\_tools\PasswordEncoder.exe
2. In this image password 1234 has been selected.
a. This will result in an encoded password UwF1DQ==
b. The above password is invalid, as = is not permitted for the RTSP URI.
c. To fix this, = must be replaced with %3D, resulting in UwF1DQ%3D%3D.
4. The resulting password to use in SureView would be the end-result of generating an encoded password and substituting characters.
