This may be used to see how they were handled to reproduce similar procedures, or to gather specific information for other reporting tasks. Auto Handled Filtering
Required Feature Flag: Alarms / EventSearch / ShowAutohandledFilter
Alarm events cant be filtered out depending on if the alarm was autohandled or not.
When the checkbox is selected (above) the results will contain autohandled events, if it is unselected, it will omit autohandled events form the results.
If the EventType is not set to Alarm, the Autohandled filtering option will not show:
Alarm Tag filtering
Required Feature Flag: Alarms / EventSearch / AlarmTag
Events can be filtered using the default Alarm Tag, if the feature 'AlarmTag' (under the Alarms category, feature path - Alarms>EventSearch>AlarmTag) is enabled on the feature list page.
Alarm tags are used to organise alarms and group them in ways other than area or priority.
Examples
- "Maintenance" tag
This could be used to organise maintenance alarms such as "Battery Low" or "Card Reader Error" - "First Floor Reception" tag
This could be used to organise all alarms for the reception area (including Door Alarms, Camera Analytic Alarms or Visitor Check In Alarms)
As well as making events easier to search in the Event Search page, tags can be used to group alarms together for alarm processing (see the Alarm Tag support page for more details on alarm tags and how to configure them)
Note: Alarm tags differ from the option "Find with Tag" in that they are customisable to meet the needs of the operations team.
Search results
After clicking search you will be shown all appropriate results in a list format. Clicking any of these results will show the awareness center for that alarm, as well as the map and basic event information.
The top left section of the awareness centre will give you basic information such as EventID, Outcome, Time of the event and the operators who dealt with the alarm.
The middle section will show you any alarm clips from alarms that are contained within the event. The right side will display a map showing you the location of the selected alarm.
The bottom section showing you the audit trail and allows you to filter the entries based on alarms, operator actions, dispatch actions, device actions (Viewing cameras, activating relays), actions and notes added to the event. Clicking an entry within the audit trail will display any associated camera footage in the middle pane.

To preserve events, you will need to have the feature "PreserveEvents" enabled in your feature list. Found under Alarms>EventSearch>PreserveEvents.
Once you are reviewing an event, if you wish to preserve the data and video clips so that the housekeeping service does not delete them you can tick the Preserve box in the top right of the event. If you decide at a later date the event no longer needs to be preserved, find the event again and simply untick the preserve box.
Situation Report (SitRep)
Required Feature Flag: Alarms / EventSearch / DownloadEvent
To use the Situation Report, the feature "DownloadEvent" needs to be enabled in your feature list, Found under Alarms>EventSearch>DownloadEvent. Users will also need the CanDownloadEventSearchSitRep permission.

Download Individual "Single" Clips
Required Feature Flag: Alarms / EventSearch / DownloadEvent / SingleClip
There are two ways to download media from within the event review. You can download all the media from an event, or a single clip.
To Download the events media, the feature "DownloadEvent" needs to be enabled in your feature list, Found under Alarms>EventSearch>DownloadEvent / DownloadSingleClip. Users will also need the CanDownloadEventSearchMedia permission.
The Download Media button allows users to download all media stored within the filestore for the currently selected event. Before the Events Media can be downloaded it first needs to be archived, this may take some time so the progress of the archive operation is shown inside the button. Once fully archived a zip file containing all of the events media will be downloaded.
To download a single clip, first select the record that contains the footage you wish to download from the audit trail. You can download anything record type that has footage, this includes alarms and camera viewed records. Once you have the record select, above the footage you will find a download button.
When you click the download option you will get a popup box asking how it should be named. If you select the system name it will be named in the format {EventRecordID}.{DeviceID}.{Date YYYYMMDD}.{Time}.PRE/POST.mp4 . Friendly name will be named {AlarmName}.mp4
Reviewing Flagged Events - Find with "tag"
Operators can flag events for future review, these are highlighted in the Event Search with a red flag icon and need to be manually "reviewed" before they are cleared.
When you mark an event as "reviewed" you can also add any review notes which will be appended to the event as supplementary information.
Once the event is cleared the Flag icon is removed but it still can be found in the search using the "Flagged for review" and "Reviewed" event tags (using the "Find With" search filter)
