Within the media matrix you can perform video tours using all the cameras belonging to a particular area or only cameras that are nearby the alarm. Information regarding these tours can be found here. However, if you have the feature Tours enabled you can create predefined tours for operators to complete. Enabling Tours will allow you to select Video Tours Setup from your menu.
Once in Video Tour Setup, clicking add tour will present you with the screen below.
To create a tour, give it a title and select which area you want the tour to belong to. Next select the site that the cameras belongs to using the drop down. Before selecting the individual cameras decide whether you want the operator to have to view the camera for a set number of seconds or whether they need to acknowledge they have viewed the camera by selecting duration or confirmation. Then from the devices drop down select the cameras you want to include in the tour.
Once you have a camera in the list you can add a comment to it, (prehaps asking the operator to check for something specific). When using duration you can enter the number of seconds you want the operator to view the camera for and which preset the tour should use if the camera has presets. When you are happy with the tour click the save button.
Now we have a tour set up, when in the media matrix, within the Video Tour section we have another option for "Predefined Cameras". Selecting this will give you a drop down select the tour from.
When ready click Start video Tour and the media matrix grid will change to show the cameras contained within the tour.
The current camera the operator should be viewing will be higlighted in green with the other cameras greyed out. On the right had side you will see information about the tour including which camera you are viewing out of how many cameras are in the tour, the remaining seconds left on the tour step and some control buttons. Here you can stop the tour, pause the tour or mark the camera as not connecting. If you select this option you will be asked to enter a comment.
If you created the tour with confirmation rather then duration, you will get a slightly different set of options. You will still be able to stop the tour and mark a camera and not connecting. The green tick is how the operator confirms they have viewed the camera on move onto the next camera.
