Introduction

In this Article, we will be going through how a guard can use a guard tour within the mobile view.

If you are not familliar with the SureView Mobile App, this Article would be advised to be viewed first.

Mobile View

When you have logged in as a guard, you will be able to see the default view. The guard below is within the patrol zone.

Tour Dispatched

When a tour is dispatched and set to the current guard, it will show up on the map with a tour icon with a circle of the step radius.

Mobile Right Sidebar

When a tour is dispatched to the current guard, it will show up within the right sidebar. In the right sidebar you got 2 options to choose from;

• Dispatch Requests
• Tour Requests

We will want to click the 'Tour Requests' to be able to see the list of current tours assigned to the current guard.

Starting the tour

You will be able to start the tour from 2 different methods;

Within the right sidebar

You will be able to start the tour from the right sidebar by clicking the expand button at the bottom of the tour request item. Atfer that, you will see two orange buttons;

• Show
• Go

To start the guard tour from here, you will need to click 'Go' button.

On the map icon

You will also be able to start the tour from the map interface itself, you can do this by clicking the tour icon. After clicking the guard tour icon, a small model will pop up with a 'Go' button, clicking this will start the tour.

Step one and beyond

After starting the tour, the first step will be avaliable. This step would be the same one you would have seen on the map before starting. There are 2 ways to confirm that you have reached this tour step.

Close Proximity

If you are within the circle of the current guard tour step, a modal will pop up from the bottom asking if you have arrived at your destination. After the modal has popped up, you will be able to click 'Ive Arrived' button.

Manaual Confirm

Another way to confirm that you have reached the current guard tour step is to click the current guard tour icon. This will show a small modal to cancel the current action or to confirm that you have arrived. Clicking the 'Arrived' button will continue the tour.

Confirmed and continuing tour

After you have confirmed that you have reached the current tour step, you will then be prompted to; take a picture (optional), add a note (optional) and to continue the tour. After you have filled out the desired information, you will then be able to continue the tour by clicking 'Continue Tour'.

The next Tour Step

After continuing the tour, the tour marker will change to a different location, which the guard would need to head towards to confirm that the guard has reached the next step. This will occur until you get to the last step.

Last Tour Step

When you get to the last step within the tour and you have confirmed you have reached the desired location. You will be prompted to do the take photo (optional), take note (optional) and to 'Finish Tour'. After clicking 'Finish Tour' the tour will complete.

Rigth sidebar Dispatch Item

While on the tour or before starting, you will be able to see each of the steps within the tour, as shown below;

If you are within the tour, it will highlight the current tour step that you are currently on as shown below;
