Feature Prerequisite
To be able to use the High Priority Banner the "Alarms/HighPriorityBanner" Feature needs to be enabled. This is controlled by your SureView System Administrator as may be dependent on your individual license. You will also need the "CanInteractHighPriorityBanner" Permission enabled for each operator that needs the high priority banner.
Usage
The high priority banner displays at the top of the page on both the Event Queue and Site Monitor pages whenever a high priority alarm gets added to the queue. A high priority alarm is by default an alarm with a priority of 1000 or higher, however this is configurable (see below). The high priority banner will only show alarms that are in your currently open filters (if you have no filters open it will show all alarms).
Clicking the process button will take the operator to the high priority alarm named on the banner. If the operator is processing a different alarm it will log that the operator has switched to process a high priority alarm. It will also park the different alarm the operator was processing, allowing it to be picked up again at the next available opportunity. Finally the banner will disappear for all operators as the event is currently being processed.
Clicking ignore will hide the banner and log that a operator has chosen to ignore the specified high priority event. It will only hide the banner for the operator that clicks ignore.
If another operator picks up the event first the banner will disappear. The banner will also not show for parked events.
