Dispatching allows you to send a guard to the alarm.
When you click the button, you will see a list of all available guards belonging to a patrol zone that covers where this alarm has happened. If the alarm doesn't have a location, and the area doesn't have an address set, then dispatch will not be possible.
The list of guards can be filtered based on guard callsign. Click the Dispatch button next to the guard to dispatch them.
When you've dispatched a guard to an event, the dispatch button highlights blue, so you can immediately see that someone is attending the event. When you click it, instead of the list of guards, you see the status of who you have dispatched.
Marking the guard as "Arrived" updates their status, and makes a note in the audit. Clicking "Clear Dispatch" returns this guard to available, and clears the dispatch status for your current event.
If you do not clear the dispatch manually, then the guard's status will also be reset if the event is ended.
If you have the "Multi Dispatch" feature enabled you will be able to dispatch multiple guards to the event. Upon dispatching a guard the dispatch list will show the guard on route with the "arrived" and "clear dispatch" icons and a list of the remaining guards that can be dispatched.
